Shaker Box with lid template - Cut files for Cricut and Silhouette - Rectangular box

Hi!

In this post, I'm going to show my new Shaker Rectangular box template! 

This shaker Box is a clear box with 360° shaker! The template is a blank template and you can decorate all the sides of the box inside and out.

The best part of this template is that the size of the box is large to add your favorite goodies!

 Supplies to make this shaker box:

- Shaker Rectangular Box Template

- Cutting machine: Cricut or Silhouette, or Scissors and craft knife

- Acetate sheets 

- Silicone glue  (Similar glue)

- 80 lb cardstocks 

- 5mm Double sided transparent tape

- Beads, sequins or confetti, etc

- Cricut tools

- Craft knife 

- Mat 

- Bone folder

- Mini clips 

- Optional: Foam tape

How to cut the template

Use your cutting machines such as Cricut or Silhouette cameo to cut the template or use scissors and craft knife to cut by hand:

CRICUT

- Upload the SVG file in Cricut Design space.

- If you have a scoring wheel or scoring stylus, make sure to use the SVG files with solid lines and remember to set up the score lines, before sending to cut. Check out my tutorial to learn how to set up score lines in cricut design design space.

Dashed lines are intended to be cut, so you don’t need any scoring tool.

SILHOUETTE CAMEO

- If you use a silhouette machine, make sure to upload the DXF file with dashed lines in silhouette studio.

BY HAND

- I recommend using the PDF file to cut by hand. The PDF file template fits in Letter size paper and A4 size paper.

Instructions:

1. Print all the pieces of the template on white paper. 

2. Trace on cardstocks and acetate.

3. Score along the lines using a bone folder.

4. Cut the template with scissors and craft knife.

Find the Shaker Rectangular Box Template

The Shaker Rectangular Box template includes a SVG file for Cricut, DXF file for Silhouette, PDF and PNG file to cut with scissors and a craft knife.

Templates are in two parts and you can cut the pieces using the Letter size paper or A4 size paper.

Blank template only, you need to add the decoration of your choice!

Get the template in my Shop or in my Etsy store. 

How to extract the template to your device:

- Template comes in a zipped folder, you need to unzip the files to your computer.

• Mac: just double click the zipped folder to unzip it. 
• Windows PC, right click the zipped folder and choose Extract Here or Extract All.
• Phone or tablet: You will probably need an app to extract the files.

Tips: 

- For best results, I recommend using 80 lb cardstock. 

- To use the ultra fine tip bottle, I filled the bottle with 70% silicone glue approx and 30% rubbing alcohol approx. I combined them to make the glue more liquid to pass through the ultra fine tip.

- If you want to resize the SVG file in Cricut design space, you need to group all the pieces.
