acetate gable boxes templates

Hello!

In today's post, I show you how to make gable boxes! These cute gable boxes are acetate boxes, so you can decorate your boxes with vinyl or any other decoration! You can also try Foil acetate from Cricut brand!

But if you're not planning to make acetate boxes, the box template can also be used with cardstocks! So there are many options to create boxes with this template!

The Gable Boxes Templates come in two sizes for Letter size or A4 size and 12" x12" size.

Let's see what are the supplies to make the boxes!

How to cut the templates

CRICUT

- Upload the SVG file in Cricut Design space.

-  There are two SVG files:

*SVG with solid lines: If you have a scoring wheel or scoring stylus, make sure to use the SVG files with solid lines and remember to set up the score lines, before sending to cut.

Check out my tutorial to learn how to set up score lines in cricut design design space.

*SVG with Dashed lines are intended to be cut, so you don’t need any scoring tool.

SILHOUETTE CAMEO

- I recommend using the DXF file with dashed lines in silhouette studio.

BY HAND

- Be sure the PDF file to cut with scissors or craft knife. The PDF file template comes in A4 size paper.

Steps:

1. Print all the pieces of the template on white paper (Copy paper)

2. Trace on acetate and cardstock.

3. Score along the dashed lines with a bone folder.

4. Cut the template with scissors or craft knife
