Shaker Boxes with lid templates

Create these shaker boxes for your birthday parties or any special occasions!

The Shaker boxes templates are blank templates to customize with the theme of your choice!

The boxes templates includes a SVG file for Cricut, DXF file for Silhouette studio, PDF and PNG files to cut by hand!

Supplies:

- Shaker boxes with lid templates

- Cardstocks ( At least 65 lb up to 80 lb) 

- Cutting machine such as Cricut or Silhouette cameo or scissors

- Strong craft glue (Similiar glue)

- Bone folder

- Acetate sheets 

- Transparent tape

- Craft knife and mat

- Tweezer and Weeder

- Mini pom poms, beads, foam beads, confetti or sequins

- Foam

- Optional: Chunky glitter, Rhinestones stickers

How to cut the template:

Cut the template with a cutting machines such as Cricut or Silhouette cameo. You can also cut the template using scissors and craft knife.

CRICUT

- You need to upload the SVG file in Cricut Design space.

- If you have a scoring wheel or scoring stylus, make sure to use the SVG files with solid lines and remember to set up the score lines, before sending to cut. Check out my tutorial to learn how to set up score lines in cricut design design space.

Dashed lines are intended to be cut, so you don’t need any scoring tool.

SILHOUETTE CAMEO

- I recommend using the DXF file with dashed lines in silhouette studio.

BY HAND

- I recommend using the PDF file to cut by hand. The PDF file template comes in A4 size paper. 

Steps:

1. Print all the pieces of the template on white paper. 

2. Trace on card stocks and acetate.

3. Score along the lines 

4. Cut the template with scissors and craft knife.

The Shaker boxes templates includes two different lids as you can see in the photos!

The boxes templates comes in SVG, DXF, PDF and PNG files. You can use the templates with A4 size cardstock paper or 12"x 12" cardstock size paper.

Please note this is a blank template, so it does not include the images or pattern. You can decorate the box with the theme of your choice.

Tips:

- The template comes in a zipped folder, you need to unzip the files to your computer.

• Mac: just double click the zipped folder to unzip it. 
• Windows PC, right click the zipped folder and choose Extract Here or Extract All.

- If you want to unzip the files to your cell phone or tablet, you will probably need an app to extract the files.

- When you resize the box in your cutting machine software, make sure to group all the pieces of the template, Check out my cricut tutorial.

- To add patterns to the embellisments in cricut design space, I have a tutorial on how to add patterns in cricut.

- You can use 65 lb cardstock up to 80 lb cardstock. I recommend using 80 lb cardstock for best results.
