Tall Favor Box with straw handle - Shaker favor box

Hello!

After a long time, we have another shaker box! This tall box with straw is cute option for your party favors and you can fill the box with candies and small toys!

SUPPLIES

- Tall Favor Box template

- Card stocks (At least 65 lb up to 80 lb card stock)

- Acetate sheet

- Cutting machine or Scissors and bone folder

- Strong glue (Similar glue to make this box)

- Sequins, confetti or beads

- Scissors

- Paper straw or ribbon

- Double sided foam tape (Optional)

HOW TO CUT THE TEMPLATES

Templates can be used in cutting machines such as Cricut or Silhouette cameo:

CRICUT

- I recommend using SVG file in Cricut Design space.

- If you have a scoring wheel or scoring stylus, make sure to use the SVG files with solid lines and remember to set the score lines, before sending to cut. Check out my tutorial to learn how to set up score lines in cricut design design space.

Dashed lines are intended to be cut, so you don’t need any scoring tool.

SILHOUETTE CAMEO

- If you use a silhouette machine, make sure to upload the DXF file in silhouette studio.

BY HAND

- I recommend using the PDF file to cut by hand. The PDF file template comes in Letter size paper.

- Before making the shaker tall box, print out the template on card stock. Note: You’ll need to print out the acetate window template and embellisment on paper, then trace onto acetate and card stock.

- Also, you can print all the pieces of the template on paper, then trace onto card stock and acetate and cut them out.

FIND THE TALL FAVOR BOX TEMPLATE

The tall box templates comes in two form (Solid and two parts). The solid part fits in a 12” x 12” card stock, meanwhile each piece of the two part template fits in letter size paper or A4 size paper. You can get the templates in my Etsy store.

This is a blank template, so it does not include the images or pattern. You can decorate the box with the theme of your choice.

TIPS:

- The template comes in a zipped folder, you need to unzip the files to your computer.

• Windows PC: Right click the zipped folder and choose Extract Here or Extract All. 
• Mac: Double click the zipped folder to unzip it.

- To unzip the files to your mobile device or tablet, you will probably need an app to extract the files.

- You can use 65 lb card stock up to 80 lb, but I recommend using 80 lb card stock because the material is thicker than 65 lb cardstock.

- To close the box, you can use a paper straw or ribbon Check out this video to see how close the box.

- Make sure to group all the pieces of the template, when you resize the box in your cutting machine software.
