- Cricut or Silhouette cameo or scissors and craft knife
- Craft glue (Here is a similar glue)
- Foam beads, sequins, beads or confetti
- Foam tape
Use a cutting machines such as Cricut or Silhouette cameo to cut the template or use scissors and craft knife to cut by hand.
CRICUT
- Upload the SVG file in Cricut Design space.
- If you have a scoring wheel or scoring stylus, make sure to use the SVG files with solid lines and remember to set up the score lines, before sending to cut.

Dashed lines are intended to be cut, so you don’t need any scoring tool.
SILHOUETTE CAMEO
- If you use a silhouette machine, make sure to upload the DXF file in silhouette studio.
- I recommend using the DXF file with dashed lines.
BY HAND
- I recommend using the PDF file to cut by hand. The PDF file template comes in Letter size paper and Tabloid size paper
Steps:
1. Print all the pieces of the template on white paper.
2. Trace on card stocks and acetate.
3. Score along the lines
4. Cut the template with scissors and craft knife.
The box template are in SVG, DXF, PDF and PNG formats. Template comes in two parts for Letter size paper or A4 size paper.
Also, it includes an optional solid part for Tabloid size paper or to be used in the 12” x 24”mat with you cutting machine.
Template is a blank template.

You can get the templates in my Shop or in my Etsy store.
- The template comes in a zipped folder, you need to unzip the files to your computer.
- Mac: just double click the zipped folder to unzip it.
- Windows PC: Right click the zipped folder and choose Extract Here or Extract All.
- Phone, Ipad or tablet: You will probably need an app to extract the files.
- When you resize the box in your cutting machine software, make sure to group all the pieces of the template, Check out my cricut design tutorial.
