Christmas Tree Box - Free SVG file for Cricut

 

Hello!

This week christmas craft is this cute Christmas Tree Box! 

This box is a shaker box so it would be so much fun as favor boxes for kids! Just fill the boxes with candies or small toys!

You can also use the box as a Christmas ornament to decorate your christmas tree!

What you need to make the box:

- Free Christmas Tree Box SVG file

- Cardstocks (I used green cardstock, gold foil and glitter cardstocks)

- Strong craft glue (Similar glue) 

- Ultra fine tip bottle (Similar bottle, check out the tips below)

- Cutting machine (Cricut, Brother or Silhouette cameo)

- Acetate 

- 2mm Foam sheet

- Confetti 

- Half pearl beads

- Ribbon 

- Scissors

- Bone folder

- Optional: Foam tape

Directions to make make the box:

1. Sign up to download the Free SVG File at the bottom of the post. 

2. Unzip the zipped folder to extract the SVG file.

• Mac:  Double click the zip folder to unzip it.
• Windows: Right click the folder and select extract all or extract here to unzip it. 
• Ipad or Mobile: You may need an app to extract the SVG file to your device.

3. Please note you need to set up the score lines before sending to cut, if you use cricut design space. This SVG file includes solid lines.

4. Cut the Christmas Tree Box template with your cutting machine such as Cricut, Brother or Silhouette.

5. Play the video to see how to assemble Christmas Tree Box! 

Tips to assemble the box:

- To make the glue more liquid to pass through the ultra fine tip bottle. Fill the ultra fine tip bottle with 70% silicone glue and 30% rubbing alcohol. Then mix until they come together.

- Cut 2 or more foam layers to give your shaker more depth. You could also use foam tape instead of cutting the foam sheet.

- If you want to resize the SVG file in Cricut design space, group all the pieces.

-  You could also use mini pom poms instead of half pearl beads.
