Shaker Milk box with window - DIY Shaker Favor Box

SHAKER MILK BOX WITH WINDOW

Shaker boxes are a hit in birthday parties! This shaker milk box with window is a fun option as a party favors.

Also, if you don’t want to make a shaker favor box, you can take off the shaker part and use only the box with window!

Here are the materials:

 - Shaker Milk Box Template

- Card stocks ( At least 80 lb up to 110 lb)

- Acetate sheet

- Silicone glue 

- Cutting machine or Scissors and bone folder

- Sequins, confetti or beads

- Ribbon

- Foam tape (Optional)

How to unzip or extract the files:

The files come in a zipped folder, you need to unzip or extract the files to your computer.

On a Mac, just double click the zipped folder to unzip it. On a Windows PC, right click the zipped folder and choose Extract Here or Extract All.

If you want to extract the files to your mobile device, you will probably need an app to extract the files. 

Tips to cut the template:

There are two ways to cut the template:

CUTTING MACHINE

- You can use a cutting machine such as Cricut or Silhouette cameo. 

- I recommend using SVG file with Cricut and DXF file with your silhouette cameo .

- Templates include solid score lines and dashed score lines:

Solid score lines are for those who have a scoring wheel or scoring stylus. Be sure to set the score lines on your cutting machine, before sending to cut.  

Dashed score lines are intended to be cut, so you don’t need any scoring tool.

BY HAND

-  I recommend using the PDF files, If you cut by hand.

- Before making the shaker favor box, print out the Milk box template on card stock. Note: You’ll need to print out the acetate window template on paper, then trace onto acetate.

-  Also, you can print all the pieces of the template on paper, then trace onto card stock and acetate and cut them out.

FIND MILK BOX TEMPLATE

You can find the Shaker Milk Box with window template in my Etsy store. The template comes in SVG, DXF, PNG and PDF file and can be used in cutting machines such as Cricut or Silhouette cameo. 

Please note this a blank template, so it does not include the images or pattern. You can decorate the box with the theme of your choice.
