Farm Invitation

Hi friends!  In today's post, I'm making a barn invitation for your Farm Birthday Party ! I've been procrastinating this Farm Invitation tutorial for so long that now I feel relief to share this idea! I hope you guys like it!

I'm planning to make more party decorations using the Farm Templates. I was thinking of making a banner or centerpiece. Which one do you think should I make? or Should I make both ideas? Let me know in the comments.

- Printable characters stickers and editable invitation
- Cardstock for the barn, doors and bush (Colors of your choice)
- Scissors, craft knife, utility knife or cutting machine
- Ruler
- Glue
- Bone folder

You can use your cutting machine or your scissors and craft knife to cut by hand.

Cutting machine

- Make sure to use the appropriate file. ( SVG, PNG or DXF file) It'll depend on your cutting machine. Also, templates indicate where to fold, you can set score lines on your cutting machine or use your bone folder.

By hand

- Use the printable PDF or PNG files, if you cut by hand. To open the PDF files, you'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can download for free here

- Print out the templates on cardstock and use your scissor or craft knife to cut templates. Also, you can print out on paper, then trace onto cardstock and cut it out.

Farm Invitation template includes the silhouette of barn and silhouette of barn embellishments (doors, bush and roof). Templates are available on my shop and my Etsy shop. They come in SVG, PNG, PDF, EPS and DXF format. Also, you can use your cutting machine to cut the Farm template.

Also, I've created an editable invitation card in PDF file, you can get it when you buy the templates.

What paper weight is best for the Farm Invitation?

I recommend using cardstock from 65 lb / 176 gsm to 100 lb / 270 gsm.

How to edit your invitation?

To edit the  editable invitation card, you need to download to your computer. Because you won't be able to edit this in your internet browser or in Preview/ PDF reader. Then, unzip the PDF file to your computer and fill in your own text in the highlighted fields on the invitation. Finally, save the changes you make and print on matte photo paper or any white paper.

Guys, thank you for reading this Farm Invitation tutorial. If you make this invitation, I'd love to see it. Tag me on instagram or Facebook. Also feel free to comment or ask me about this invitation card.
