It's Christmas season and happy to share with you how to make these Christmas cards! One card is a cute little snowman and the other is a Christmas tree card! Both Christmas cards are 3D cards and they’re easy and fun to make with kids at home!
 
So, without further ado, let’s get into how you create these Christmas cards!

CHRISTMAS TREE CARD

Materials

- Light green construction paper

- Dark green construction paper

- Gold glitter cardstock or paper

- Red cardstock 

- Glue

- Scissors

- Star confetti

- Black marker

Instructions

1. Cut out 5 paper squares:

- 4 cm x 4 cm

- 6 cm x 6 cm

- 8 cm x 8 cm

- 10 cm x 10 cm

- 12 cm x 12 cm

2. Fold the paper square in half to make a rectangle. The fold each corner down to make a triangle. Repeat the same steps for each paper squares.

3. Fold a sheet of cardstock in half to make the card.

4. Glue the smallest triangle to the top of the card. Then, place the second smallest triangle on the inside of the first one. Repeat the steps for all triangles.

5. Cut out a glitter star and stick it on the top of the tree.

6. Add confetti to decorate the card.

7. Write any message to your card.

8. Job done!



SNOWMAN CARD

Materials

- White construction paper

- Black construction paper

- Brown construction paper

- Orange construction paper

- A piece of any color of construction paper for the hat

- Light blue cardstock

- Marker

- Glue

- Scissors

- Hole punch

Steps

1. Fold the sheet of the cardstock in half to make the card. Then, cut the card into a circular shape.

2. Cut 3 strips of white paper (Small, medium and large size). For the hat, cut a strip and half circle of black paper. Also, a thin strip of paper in your choice of color to decorate the hat.

3. Take the 3 strips of white paper and 1 strip of black paper and make paper rolls.

4. Glue the white large paper roll to the bottom of base card. Then, take the other paper rolls and stick them above the large roll to make the snowman body.

5. For the hat, stick the thin strip around the black paper roll and glue the black half circle to the bottom of the paper roll.

6. Stick the hat on the top of the small paper roll.  

7. Use a black marker to draw the buttons, eyes and mouth of the snowman.

8. Cut a small orange triangle for the nose and stick on the snowman.

9. With a hole punch, make some circles and glue the circles to the card to decorate and create a snow effect.

10. For hands, make two brown branches pieces and stick them on the snowman.

11. You’re done!
